Walnut Valley Water District contracted with Nobel Systems to perform a GIS data conversion of its domestic and recycled water distribution systems as well as three major transmission/supply pipelines serving the District. Data used to perform the conversion consisted of as-built drawings, atlas maps and valve/hydrant cards.

With Nobel Systems' help, the District has achieved its objective of conversion of the entire District's distribution system to GIS. The system has helped in planning, construction, field maintenance and GASB 34 compliance. Nobel Systems currently maintains and updates the data for the District as construction takes place.
