Michael Samuel

President & Chief Executive Officer

Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with honors from the University of Madras, India and has achieved over 35 years professional experience, spending the past 20 years working in the GIS and software development. His experience within Operations and Asset Management solutions the water wastewater industry is well respected.

He founded Nobel Systems in 1992 and has been the driver and leader for the company’s significant growth and transition from a GIS consulting company to a software development company over the past 10 years.

In 2015 Michael received the U.S. Department of Commerce’s prestigious Export Achievement award. He is on the Board of the California Utility Executive Management Association, which is the premier non-profit organization for utility professionals, their supporters, and associates working in the state of California. Michael was honored as a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year of the Inland Empire. His understanding of how to lead and grow Nobel Systems has been crucial to Nobel Systems success.

Audrey Samuel

Chief Financial Officer

With over 15 years of executive leadership within Nobel Systems, Audrey is responsible for providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team at Nobel, managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets.

She also oversees the preparation of all financial reporting and provides strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team regarding all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures.

Aretha Samuel

Chief Technology Officer

Aretha holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California Berkeley and has gained over 12 years of professional experience in the field of IT, Web and Application Development. Her years of experience in GIS and SaaS focused development for public utilities allows her to understand and foresee the needs of the industry and develop cutting edge solutions for the Water, Sewer, and Utilities market.

Aretha is responsible for all product planning and development, and overseeing almost 40 Nobel employees. Her focus is on GIS Web Applications, System Architecture & Design, Network Administration, and Product Development and Integration. Aretha has worked extensively with platforms like Amazon AWS, ReactJS, Apple iOS Swift, NodeJS, NoSQL, Couchbase, Active Directory and Microsoft Server.

Balaji Kadaba

VP of Operations

Balaji earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Siddaganaga Polytechnic, India and is one of Nobel Systems earliest employees. Balaji has been integral to the success of the company since 1996. With his over 20 years of experience in sales leadership, project management, data conversion, data management, Balaji has always been very critical to the long term success and management of Nobel Systems multi-million-dollar contracts and customers.
