GeoNobel Joins the 29th PWWA

GeoNobel, a subsidiary of Nobel Systems, is proud to announce its participation in the 29th Philippine Water Works Association (PWWA) Conference & Exhibition on October 4 to 6, 2023 at Henann Resort and Convention Center in Bohol. The PWWA is the largest and most prestigious water and wastewater event in the Philippines, attracting over 2,000 delegates and exhibitors from the public and private sectors.


The theme of this year’s conference is “Overcoming Global Challenges in Water and Wastewater”, which reflects the urgent need to address the impacts of climate change, population growth, urbanization, and pollution on water resources and services. GeoNobel, as a leading provider of smart water solutions, is committed to helping water utilities and communities overcome these challenges through innovative technologies and best practices.

Promoting Excellence in Water at the PWWA

The Philippine Water Works Association (PWWA) is the national umbrella organization of government and private agencies and individuals involved in the water services industry. It was established in 1954 as a non-stock, non-profit corporation to promote the development and improvement of water supply systems in the country.


The PWWA aims to advance and disseminate knowledge on the design, construction and management of waterworks and all matters relating to water needs of the Filipino people. It also serves as a venue for networking and collaboration among its members, who include water utilities, regulators, suppliers, contractors, consultants, academicians and professionals.


The PWWA Conference & Exhibition, organized by the PWWA, is an annual event that brings together water professionals, experts, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to share knowledge, insights, and best practices in the field of water and wastewater management. The PWWA has been holding the conference since 1996, making it one of the longest-running and most prestigious water events in the country. The conference features plenary sessions, technical discussions, product presentations, and networking opportunities that aim to address the global challenges and opportunities facing the water and wastewater sector.


The 29th PWWA Conference & Exhibition will take place from October 4 to 6, 2023 at the Henann Resort in Bohol, Philippines. The theme of the conference is “Overcoming Global Challenges in Water & Wastewater”. The conference will cover topics such as policy and legislation, climate change adaptation, water quality and security, water supply and distribution, wastewater treatment and reuse, operation and maintenance, and innovation and technology.


Advancement of the Water Sector

One of the highlights of the conference is the technical sessions from various industry experts on October 6, the third day of the conference. Dona Rina Patricia Tajora, the Business Development Manager of GeoNobel, will conduct a presentation on GIS-Based Asset Management for Water Utility from 10:20am to 10:40am.
