Selection marks a proud milestone for Nobel Systems, building on its water technology work and international growth.

REDLANDS, California, October 7, 2026 — Nobel Systems announced that Michael Samuel, its President and CEO, has been selected to participate in a high-level U.S. business delegation to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, joining a business program in Samarkand on October 19, 2026. Organizers anticipate participation by more than 100 major U.S. and Central Asian companies, with opportunities to engage senior government officials and business leaders on trade, investment, and regional economic development.

Samuel’s selection marks a significant milestone for Nobel Systems and its expanding international presence. The company brings practical experience in geospatial, cloud-based and smart water technologies to a gathering focused on commercial opportunities across Central Asia.

The program is expected to bring more than 100 major U.S. and Central Asia companies to the Central Asian region. The U.S. delegation is headed by the United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the United States Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor. The Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva will also participate in the event.

The program offers participating companies opportunities to engage officials and industry counterparts on potential partnerships, commercial priorities and U.S. government resources supporting international business.

“We are proud to take our place among the U.S. companies participating in this delegation,” said Samuel. “Nobel Systems brings hands-on experience in helping utilities use technology to manage infrastructure and improve daily operations. Building on our work in Uzbekistan, we look forward to exploring partnerships that can extend our impact and support economic development across Central Asia.”

Nobel Systems brings extensive experience in Uzbekistan’s water sector to these discussions. The company worked with JSC Uzsuvtaminot, Uzbekistan’s national water provider, on a U.S. Trade and Development Agency-funded digital twin pilot in Jizzakh. The project demonstrated the application of digital technology to water infrastructure monitoring and management, providing a foundation for exploring further collaboration.

The Samarkand program includes strategic industry matchmaking in digital technologies and other sectors, as well as opportunities for business-government and business-business discussions. Individual meetings will depend on identified interests and counterpart availability.

Nobel Systems’ participation builds on its international business activities and provides a forum to explore technology partnerships that connect U.S. expertise with Central Asia’s infrastructure and economic development priorities.
