On November 19, 2025, Nobel Systems proudly celebrated World GIS Day across two countries, bringing the spirit of geographic awareness and spatial learning to public schools through creative, student-centered activities. This year’s theme, “Mapping the Links That Connect Us,” served as an inspiring foundation for poster-making contests held by both our India and Philippines teams.

La Habra Heights County Water District (LHHCWD) has officially partnered with Nobel Systems to implement a comprehensive Geographic Information System (GIS) solution, marking a major milestone in the district’s journey toward digital transformation.

Empowering Students Through GIS: Our Shared Mission

At Nobel Systems, GIS Day is more than an annual celebration—it reflects our commitment to education, community engagement, and expanding geographic literacy. By introducing young students to the power of spatial thinking, we aim to nurture future innovators who understand how location intelligence supports better decision-making in water management, sustainability, and everyday life.

Philippines: GeoNobel, Incorporated

Our Philippines subsidiary, GeoNobel, Incorporated, hosted poster-making contests at Teresa National High School and Bolbok National High School. Students eagerly embraced the theme, creating visual interpretations of how maps connect people, places, environments, and stories.

We extend our warmest thanks to Teresa Water District and Tuy Water District for their support and collaboration, which were essential in making this event meaningful and successful.

India: Nobel Systems Software Pvt. Ltd

In India, our team at Nobel Systems Software Pvt. Ltd. celebrated GIS Day by sponsoring poster-making activities at St. Patrick’s High School and BBMP Government High School in Bengaluru. Students showcased creativity and curiosity as they explored how GIS reveals the connections that shape communities and the world around them.

The Indian team enjoyed engaging with the students and witnessing how quickly young learners connect with the concepts of mapping and spatial awareness when presented in a creative and relatable way.

We are grateful to all participating schools, students, teachers, and partners who helped make GIS Day 2025 a success across both countries. Your energy and enthusiasm embody the purpose of GIS Day: to celebrate the power of geography and inspire future thinkers who will use spatial information to improve lives and communities.

From all of us at Nobel Systems.

Happy GIS 2025!
