One of Nobel System’s long-standing customers, the Rowland Water District in Rowland Heights, CA, organized a workshop to showcase Nobel’s cloud mapping solution, GeoViewer.
This state of the art technological innovation has made a positive impact and saved the water district substantial money.
Several potential customers, in addition to other existing customers, attended the workshop.
Tom Coleman, General Manager of Rowland Water District, and Michael Samuel, President of Nobel Systems, began the workshop with a warm welcome.
Rowland’s Water Systems Supervisor Dusty Moiso highlighted GeoViewer Mobile as the crucial system that helps manage the water district’s daily workflows. Moiso showcased how they use work orders generated from GeoViewer.
He also demonstrated how his field staff enters data from pump stations, reservoirs, tanks, and other assets quickly through GeoViewer Mobile on an iPad.
GeoViewer Work Order by Nobel Systems
Allen Davidson, Rowland Water District’s Field Operations Supervisor, showcased how service order requests are populated on the iPad GeoViewer app directly from their Caselle billing system, which is then worked on by the field crew.
Davidson also demonstrated how data from valves while being exercised are pushed via Bluetooth seamlessly to the iPad GeoViewer Mobile app without any manual intervention. He also explained how the District manages and marks their USA excavation alert tickets through the app on the iPad.
Both Moiso and Davidson were comfortable in using the GeoViewer Mobile app, due to its ease of use and speedy response times.
A few of the workshop attendees stated they would move ahead with the GeoViewer Mobile app. One of the primary reasons was that if a Nobel Systems customer could present it so well, it must be an excellent system.
