The Twain Harte Community Services District located in Tuolumne County, CA approved an agreement with Nobel Systems to set up a state of the art cloud hosted GIS system.

Nobel Systems will provide both GeoViewer Online & Mobile to the District. Leveraging the latest smart-map and synchronization technology, Nobel’s GeoViewer is easy to use and was designed to streamline field workflow processes to help manage day-to-day operations.

GeoViewer’s advanced technology will allow District’s field staff to view, analyze and collect data, online or offline without ever having to worry about impractical syncing procedures. GeoViewer Mobile extends smart map technology beyond the office and provides staff with real-time data to make accurate decisions and collaborate in both office and field environments. Nobel Systems will roll out the Sewer Line Cleaning Module, Sewer MH Inspection Module, Valve Exercising Module and Hydrant Flushing Module.

Twain Harte is derived from the last names of two famous authors who lived in California, Mark Twain and Bret Harte and was formed on August 1, 1996, under Government Code §61000 et seq., to provide water, sewer, park and recreation, fire protection and hydroelectric services to the Twain Harte community. Its formation resulted in the consolidation of three districts whose service to the community dates back as far as 1935 - Twain Harte Fire Protection District, Tuolumne County Water District No. 1 and Twain Harte Recreation and Park District.

The District’s “Mission Statement” is to provide quality and efficient services to their community in a professional, reliable and fiscally responsible manner. And its vision is to be recognized at the local, regional and state levels as leaders in providing excellent water, sewer, recreation and fire protection services through sustainable planning, superior customer service and strong community involvement.

Nobel Systems to implement a GIS solution at the Valley County Water District, Baldwin Park, CA

Excited to announce that the Valley County Water District has awarded a GIS solutions implementation project to Nobel Systems. Valley County Water District is the principal public water utility serving the residents and businesses within a 10-square mile community located in the San Gabriel Valley, encompassing portions of the City of Baldwin Park, the City of Irwindale, the City of West Covina, and the City of Azusa. The Valley County Water District system supplies the potable water needs and demands of nearly 75,000 residents through 12,470 water delivery service connections.

Nobel Systems will convert all paper based data in the District’s office to a state of the art GIS system. Nobel will then host the data through its flagship cloud based GeoViewer Online. This will have an immediate positive impact providing digital records online, allowing field crews to isolate valves during a shutdown and ensure that up to date is available at all times. “We were very impressed to see GeoViewer Online in action, and to have an up to date electronic information of all our assets” said Jose L. Martinez, General Manager of the District.
